Hello and welcome to my site,
In the past year I have completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Production at the University of Glamorgan’s ATRiuM, not only was this degree an excellent educational experience, it was also a chance for me to build contacts and “get my foot in the door” of film and television Industry.
Whilst studying over the three years, I covered coursework modules in Journalism, New Media, Design, Short Film Making, and Photography; all of which helped me to express myself through Audio and Visual Arts, and develop a greater passion for working in television and film.
On completing my degree at an accredited University, I began a six month training course with a Welsh company named Cyfle (Cyf). Cyfle is a Skillset approved training company for passionate individuals aiming to work in the AV industry.
With a wealth of contacts and experience ranging from film and television to new media, and animation Cyfle Cyf was able to help me develop my CV and helped put me in the right place at the right time, and most importantly in contact with the best people for me to further myself within the industry.
During my 6 months with Cyfle Cyf I was provided with:
- City and Guilds Health and Safety Certificate in the A/V industry.
- First Aid Certification (Vaild until 2011)
- Location Management short course at London’s National Film and Television School
- ...and a whole wealth of experience on film and television sets from Warner Brothers to BBC Drama’s.
I am always interested in new ideas, and with previous low budget short films, I have turned my hand to production management, and even producing.
